My eldest son Sam always wanted to visit Japan and he has been saving up for a ticket for years now. We should have traveled there this year, but due to the pandemic, that was impossible. We’re now trying to go next year.

Sam and I did make some kind of itinerary and I told him how we were going to get around, as I have been to Japan many times. I told him about the Shinkansen trains, the cute Tram in Nagasaki and the immense subway system in Tokyo. One of the lines in Tokyo is the so-called Yamanote Circle Line, which I have used on numerous occasions.

A new font name was born and it stuck to this particular font!

Subway Circle is a 100% handmade font. It is rounded, slightly slanted and comes with a sunny disposition. I am sure that, when you use it, you will find your 生きがい… ;-)

Allamare is non connected handlettered brush script with number of alternatives, such as: Titling alternates, stylistic Variants, Initial and Final forms, some Ligatures and Underscored Titling letters with swashes of 3 different lenght. Allamare script is good for any type of advertising, package design, poster lettering and any kind of invitations and greeting cards. Allamare Script is multilingual, it covers almost all Latin-based languages and also contains Cyrillic.

Geometris Semi-Condensed was designed by Nikolay Savchuk. Geometris Semi-Condensed is a modern versatile sans-serif typeface. What differentiates Geometris Semi-Condensed from the other fonts is an exceptionally distinctive design. The typeface EURO Icon Kit is designed at 2020 for the font foundry Typo Graphic Design by Manuel Viergutz. The display font is inspired by the here and now.

I have no idea why I named this font Modern Fantasy: it just popped up in my head and it stuck. I don’t consider myself to be ‘modern’ (but I’m certainly not old fashioned!), nor do I have particularly modern fantasies… 

Modern Fantasy is an elegant all caps font: thin, tall and lovely.
